Focusing on limited penetration along the main line, the course emphasizes mastering critical emergency skills and building foundational cave diving capabilities. Over four days and a minimum of eight dives, students engage in intensive training, covering equipment requirements, safety procedures, and hands-on practice. Prerequisites include being 18 years old, having 50 logged dives, and possessing certifications in Advanced Open Water and Nitrox Diver. This course sets the stage for advanced cave diving adventures. In addition to the comprehensive training provided in the NSS-CDS Apprentice Cave Diver course, rental gear is available for an extra cost. This option offers convenience for students who may not have their own specialized cave diving equipment. The availability of rental gear ensures that all participants have access to the necessary gear to safely and effectively engage in the course activities.
